Coming to the theatre by yourself?
Coming to the theatre by yourself? Would you like to meet up with other theatre lovers for some relaxed preshow banter, to grab a bite to eat or have a coffee with new friends? We’ll be hosting some informal gettogethers to tie in with choice midweek matinees in the new season (see below) – a great chance for those coming to the theatre by themselves to make even more of their visit.
A member of theatre staff will be there to introduce you to others – just come along to the Circle Lounge (at the top of the stairs from the main entrance foyer) from 1.45pm on any of the following dates.
- Wednesday 24 March, 2.30pm - Enjoy
- Wednesday 21 April, 2.30pm - The 39 Steps
- Wednesday 26 May, 2.30pm - The History Boys
- Wednesday 14 July, 2.30pm - Whistle Down The Wind
- Wednesday 21 July, 2.30pm - Calendar Girls

- Thursday 4 November, 2.30pm - NBT’s The Nutcracker
