With bars on both levels of the newly modernised Theatre Royal and a spacious ground-floor Café Restaurant, you can be sure of a relaxing visit. Whether you're watching a show, popping in for tickets or simply fancy a break while shopping, a warm welcome awaits you.
The Cafe Restaurant serves a wide range of drinks, hot and cold food, snacks, drinks and more all day. All facilities are fully accessible. Food and supplies are all sourced locally, to take advantage of the freshest produce available, and to reduce the number of food miles involved.
All beers and wines are supplied by award-winning, Suffolk-based Adnams plc. Adnams beers on draught will include their own Bitter, Explorer and Spindrift, alongside draught Bitburger and Carlsberg lagers, Guinness and Aspall's Cider. The experienced wine buyers from Adnams have also selected a wine list exclusively for the Theatre Royal. A full range of soft drinks, as well as Fairtrade teas and coffees, are also available.
We’re open from 9.30am, Monday to Saturday, until the end of the last show’s interval (6pm on non-show days). From 12 noon until 4pm our lunch menu is available and on show nights, Monday to Saturday, we also serve pre-theatre dinners from 5pm.
